Anna Saroukou is a graduate of the Department of Geography of the University of the Aegean (2018), with a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Development from Panteion University (specialization in Regional and Local Development Planning) (2022). During her time as a student, she has participated in summer schools such as the 30th “ERSA (European Regional Science Association) Summer School” (2017) and has presented in seminars, conferences and workshops, such as the “Seminar on Methodology in Political Science at the University of Athens, Athens” (2018) and the “11th International Conference of the Hellenic Geographical Society” (2018). She has worked in “Social Analytics” in data entry, interpretation, and data processing, as well as in text translation. She is a member of the Labour Geography Research Laboratory of the University of the Aegean. Her research interests mainly concern: the study of regional inequalities, labour, and economic inequalities, as well as the general study of urban and regional development.
