George Sykas is a PhD candidate in economic geography. He is a graduate of the School of Spatial Planning and Development of the Thessaloniki School of Engineering and holds a Master’s degree in “Human Geography, Spatial Development and Planning”. He has participated as a junior researcher and a trainer in the research project “A Place for Youth in Mediterranean EEA: Resilient and Sharing Economies for NEETs- YOUTHShare research project”. He has contributed to reports and published press articles on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on employment. Finally, he has submitted papers to scientific conferences and journals.
